Eleni Grammatikopoulou

Born in 1983 in Athens, Greece, Eleni started
violin lessons at the age of 6. She successfully auditioned for Conservatory of Athens, where she studied under
Sophocles Politis, and graduated in 2002 with the title of Violin Diploma.
As an orchestral musician she has toured around
Greece with the National Radiophone Orchestra, as well as in numerous recordings with the former for their archive.
She has participated in concerts for the Athens’ Festival as well as productions of the National Opera House of
Greece.
She is currently a Masters of Arts student at the
Royal Academy of Music, in the class of Lydia Mordkovich. During her studies in the Royal Academy of Music, she has
participated in numerous projects of all three Academy orchestras (Symphony Orchestra, Concert Orchestra and
Sinfonia Orchestra) including Opera productions, Musical Theatre, and important festivals like the Messiaen
Festival, under great conductors such as Susanna Maalki, Trevor Pinnock and Sir Colin Davis.
She is a keen chamber musician, performing both in
violin-piano duos and bigger chamber music ensembles. She has also graduated from the ‘Pedagogy Department for
Primary School Education’ of the National University of Athens.
