Georgia Morrison
Georgia, 19, is in her first undergraduate
year at the Royal Academy of Music, and studies with James Sleigh. She is a member of the Majoe Quartet and
last term led the violas in the Academy String Orchestra. Leading her section in the National Youth
Orchestra, Georgia worked with, amongst others, Mark Elder, Antonio Pappano and Sir Neville Mariner, and
enjoyed performing at the BBC proms. While at school Georgia led the violas in the Bromley Youth Symphony and
Chamber Orchestras, touring to Italy, Estonia, Austria and Croatia. She looks forward to returning to perform
Mozart's Sinfonia Concertante at the Royal Greenwich Naval
Chapel in March 2009.
