Hannah Grayson

Hannah graduated in 2011 with distinction from the Royal College of Music, London with a Postgraduate Diploma
where she studied as a scholar with professors Jaime Martin, Simon Channing, Katie Bedford and piccolo with Stewart
McllWham. Selection for the ERASMUS exchange programme also led Hannah to study with Abbie De Quant in the
Conservatorium Van Amsterdam. Hannah attended the Purcell School and the Royal Academy of Music Junior Department.
During this time Hannah also played principal flute with the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain.
Hannah now enjoys working as a musician across all sectors of the profession. Recent orchestral performances and
training include positions with the London Philharmonic Orchestra ‘Future Firsts’ 2011, Symphony Orchestra of
India, London Contemporary Orchestra and as part of the London Symphony Orchestra and London Sinfonietta Academies.
Hannah has also performed solo and chamber music recitals in prestigious venues such as the Royal Festival Hall,
the National Gallery, St. James’s Church Piccadilly, Elgar Room of the Royal Albert Hall, Cheltenham Festival,
V&A Museum and the Institute for Contemporary Arts.
Hannah is also a dedicated teacher leading to a residency at the Dartington Summer School as a member of the
Mercury Quartet, work with young composers on summer school “Sound and Music” and exciting outreach projects
including multicultural music work with "Commonwealth Resounds!"
